Biosketch

Dr. Ilknur Tugal-Tutkun is a Professor of Ophthalmology and Director of the Uveitis Service at the Department of Ophthalmology, Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine.

She did her postgraduate training at the same institution and at the Ocular Immunology and Uveitis Service, Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary.

Her main clinical interest is uveitis associated with Behçet’s disease. She served as the Chairperson of the Local Organizing Committee of the SOIE 2008 Meeting in Cappadocia, Turkey.
